Two Updated Slide Presentations on California City Finances Posted to the League of California Cities Web Site

Two revised and updated slide presentations on California City Finances have just been posted on the League of California Cities web site at http://www.cacities.org/. These are aimed at policy makers and concerned citizens to give them a better understanding of the general trends and conditions of city finances in California.

• "Financing Cities: A status report on California cities and the need for serious reform." provides an overview of California city finances and a description of the major issues.
• "You pay fees and taxes to government, but how much of that goes to cities?" is an update of a previous slide show. It also provides a brief look at how cities spend their funds.
