The Legislative Analyst's Office has placed the following on its website:
Local Government Database
The Local Government Database provides revenue, expenditure, and other data for California cities and counties. Developed to assist the Conference Committee on AB 1396 in comparing local government reform proposals, the database can search many key data categories for local governments. The database, for instance, allows users to quickly compare property and sales tax revenues in various jurisdictions.
